This festive season, The Together Project is spreading connection and joy through the magic of music. On Friday, 13th December, from 10.45 to 11.15 am, the sound of intergenerational singing will fill 17&Central Shopping Centre in Walthamstow, bringing festive cheer to everyone who stops by.
We’re absolutely delighted to share that Songs & Smiles has been shortlisted for Best Family Arts Activity in the Family Arts Awards 2024! This is a fantastic honour for our team. Each week, I see the magic that unfolds when little ones, their grown-ups, and older people come together through the joy of music—and it’s nothing short of inspiring.
Nursery rhymes may be simple, but they’re far from ordinary. We see it every day in our Songs & Smiles sessions – the way a familiar tune brings pure joy, the way it brings together little ones, grown-ups, and older people in care homes, creating moments of real connection.

At The Together Project, we’re always searching for ways to enhance the wellbeing and happiness of older people living in care homes and retirement housing, and our partnership with My Life Films is a truly exciting step towards that goal. Together, we’re helping bring the joy of our Songs & Smiles sessions to even more people in a new way—through My Life TV.
