Chris joined the board recently as a trustee to help strengthen the charity’s governance and support its mission of bringing generations together. With a background in accounting, compliance and risk, he enjoys applying his professional skills to a cause that creates real social connection while meeting important regulatory requirements. His initial focus is on ensuring all activities are properly risk‑assessed and that the charity’s policies are up‑to‑date, proportionate and fit for purpose.
Chris is particularly motivated by seeing confidence and understanding grow when younger and older people spend time together. Alongside his trustee role, he has established his own company providing governance and assurance support to a regulated organisation reviewing its oversight arrangements.
