Songs & Smiles to launch across England!

We're hugely excited to announce that we've partnered with Hallmark Care Homes to launch Songs & Smiles across the country.

Starting at Lakeview Care Home in Lightwater, Surrey next month, Songs & Smiles will roll out to the group's England homes, which include Cambridge, Brighton, Ipswich, Billericay, Wimbledon and Rugby over the coming year.  

By working together, we can spread the music, fun and friendship to hundreds more children, parents/guardians and older people. We're so thrilled about the impact that this will have, both on individuals and local communities.

Head of Dementia at Hallmark Care Homes, April Dobson, said, "Hallmark Care Homes is delighted to partner with The Together Project as we know that intergenerational activities can help to improve the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing. Through the partnership we will bring different generations and the local community together in our homes - this is a fundamental element of our model of relationship-centred care and its great fun!".

The first session in our partnership will take place at Lakeview Care Home on 20th September and will run every Thursday at 2.30pm. Sessions cost £1, which includes refreshments, and are aimed at 0-4 year olds and their grown-ups. To book a space, please email songs@thetogetherproject.org.uk.
